How to use it

A quick guide to your Cenit lamp. It applies to both sizes, 33 and 50 cm.

What is in the box

  • The lamp with its clip.
  • A USB-A to USB-C cable.
  • The manufacturer's manual.

1. Fit it

Loosen the thumbscrew on the clip, rest the lamp on the top edge of your screen, with the light facing the desk, and tighten the screw by hand until it sits firmly. There is no need to tighten it hard. If your laptop has its camera at the top, slide the clip slightly to one side so it does not cover it.

2. Plug it in

Plug the USB-C end of the cable into the lamp and the other end into a USB port on your computer, a charger or a power bank.

Does your laptop only have USB-C ports, like MacBooks? Use any USB-C to USB-C cable, such as the one from your charger. It works the same.

3. The three buttons

They are on top of the lamp and they are touch buttons: a light tap is enough.

  • Bulb button. Touch it for a second to switch the light on. Each tap changes the tone: white, warm, mixed and off. Hold it down to raise or lower the brightness.
  • 60 min button. With the lamp on, tap it to start the timer: it will switch itself off after 60 minutes.
  • Screen button. A shortcut: it sets the light straight to maximum brightness.

Tips

  • At night, use the warm light at medium brightness: it lights your desk without filling the room with light.
  • During the day or for small print, the white light is easier to read by.
  • To clean it, unplug it and wipe it with a dry cloth.

Something not working?

Check that the cable is pushed in fully at both ends and try another USB port or a charger. If it still does not switch on, write to us and we will sort it out: it has a 3-year guarantee.
